Hey there family! It sounds like everyone is doing so great back home and enjoying life. That is what I like to hear! Thanks mom for the pictures of Disneyland with the fam trip as well as some video clips of Jacque playing some tennis. Wish her good luck for me! :) All I know is mom and dad you both sounds like busy bee's just like always! I bet you are having a great time down in Vegas watching some amazing US Open Tennis matches! :) I am so excited to watch all the sports when I get back. From Tennis with Jacs and Jane, to Soccer with Jaycee and then wrestling with the boys. Then to dance with Sophie and Bri. That sounds like so much fun. Well you guys continue to be safe and have a great time! :)

Dad I must say I am kind of bummed that the Porsche is gone now.. But I am glad you and Ry were able to get it sold. That is probably a good thing. I guess we will just have to go get a Lamborghini now! :) haha just kidding. Hey good luck this week if you have any Doctor appointments for your feet and then next week good luck with the surgery. Mom you are going to have to take really good care of dad for me! :) And it also sounds like the house is doing great. I am supper pumped for that! Keep those pictures coming. When do they think it is going to be done? Hey have you guys been down to Arizona lately? How is everything doing down there? Well I just hope all is going great! Thanks for the update on everything. I love hearing what is going on back home. So thanks for always being so great about letting me know what is happening and what is going on. I love you guys! :)

Alright now for my crazy week! Let’s just say I want to be a Doctor after this week. The first part of the week was nothing special. Elder Puefua and I were very happy we are staying together again for another 6 weeks! He is now my longest companion. Pretty cool, but I think I will be gone next transfer. We will see. So throughout this week we have been visiting a lot of Less-Active members. That has been good. One of the LA's has a huge orange tree in his back yard so we went and got a ton, but they aren't good at all... So we just threw them away haha. Don't tell him that. But also we had one of the best lessons with W. this week. We now meet him here at the Library to teach him. It just works out for the best with him. He comes and studies for an hour and then after we come and teach him for an hour. This past week we were going to restart the lessons like we are supposed to, but the lesson ended up going a completely different direction. The Spirit wanted us to talk about something completely different so we listen and started talking about Family History. W. then told us how all of his family has died pretty much. His parents are both gone and he really has been worried about them. He asked if he could pray for them and when he said that instantly we brought up Temple work. He is soooo excited to be able to go to the temple and to do his family work! We then helped him get started a little bit with it. Family history is so amazing! I am thankful for it. But anyway the lesson went soooo well. He also told us how he has already seen so many blessings from being baptized and following Christ. He told us how paying his tithing was tough for his wife, but he wanted to do it so he did it anyways. Well this past week the owner of his sushi place called him and told him he was now going to be managing 2 new locations! The people would work for him! So he was about to triple his income! It is so amazing how Heavenly Father blesses us when we do what is right. He blesses us to where we will not have enough room to receive it. So that was incredible!

Then throughout the week we have been visiting a member who is in the Hospital. She just had her 8th surgery on her stomach. We have been trying to go over as much as we can because she is really struggling. She really wants to recover fast because she is going through the temple to get her endowments on the 22nd of this month! She has worked so hard and we have worked so hard with her. She thinks she is going to be okay which is what I am praying for! Well anyway on Friday we went and visited her in the night time. The Spanish elders came as well about half way into our visit. Well one of the elders has really bad poison ivy. He was exposed to it about 3 weeks ago when we were all doing a service project. A couple people got it. Well his didn't show up for about 2 weeks, but anyway there is a spot on  his lower leg where it has gotten really infected. Like to the point where the skin is now necrotic. It is blistering up and everything. Well he called our mission nurse and she said oh don't worry about it. Just put some stuff on it and it will go away in about a week or 2. Well then we decided to send her some pictures. Boy did her mind change fast when she saw the pics! So she ended up having him go straight to the ER. I felt as if I should go with him since I am his district leader and his companion is fresh from the MTC. So we went to the ER at 11 Friday night. Well we didn't get out of there until 5 in the Morning! It was crazy! The Doctor decided to pump him full of antibiotics. Well that took a good 4 hours! Turns out he has Cellulitis which is an infection. So it was a really good thing he went. I loved being there with him. I watched the nurses and doctors do everything and it was pretty cool. When I get back I am hoping I can shadow some people like Tom Wood. That would be really cool! Well anyway that was a ton of fun! So I have officially pulled an all nighter on my mission! I woke up that morning at 6 and didn’t go to bed until 6 the next morning :) Pretty fun!

Then on Sunday Elder Puefua woke up and was not feeling good at all. Well it turns out he has Pink Eye which is very contagious! So I have been having him wash his hands non stop as well as myself. I carry around with me a hand sanitize bottle. Hopefully I don't get it.  I have been going on exchanges with the Spanish elders so I don't go crazy from staying in all day. But I feel like I have been playing doctor for the last half of this week. It has been an adventure that is for sure!

On Sunday it was my favorite Sunday out on the mission. It was the Primary program. It was soo fun! And then right before church started I had 5 kids come running up to me and gave me a great big hug. I told them last week I could be getting transferred.. They were so sad, but then on Sunday they were soo happy! :) It was a lot of fun! Then in Gospel Principles our teacher didn't show up so guess who had to do it without any preparation? Yep you got it. I had to. It was a good lesson on Tithing and other offerings. It was a lot of fun and then after church we saw 4 different people and gave them the sacrament and visited them. SO that about wraps up my week! Pretty fun!

Well I hope you all have a great week! Keep up the awesome missionary work back home! Tell the family hi for me and that I love them. I miss you all so much, but this is where I need to be at this time. I love you all! Talk to you next week! :)

Love Elder Smith
